Presentations (28/5)

Read the text and answer the comprehension questions

How to Open Any Presentation With Confidence Most business professionals agree that the first thirty seconds of a presentation are the most important. If you lose your audience at the start, it is very hard to win them back. That is why having a clear, structured opening is one of the most valuable skills a presenter can develop. A strong opening has three parts. First, greet your audience: a simple 'Good morning everyone' is enough. Then introduce yourself, even if most people in the room already know you, because some attendees may not. Finally, state the aim of the presentation using a clear phrase such as 'The aim of this presentation is to give you an overview of our Q3 results.' This tells the audience exactly what they are about to hear.
